GTA 6 editions FAQ
What is the difference between GTA 6 Standard and Ultimate Edition?
Both contain the full game. The Ultimate Edition costs $20.00 more and adds the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with the Paradise Garage, the Shitzu Squalo speedboat, safehouse vehicles, exclusive revolvers and engraved pistols, Goodtime Gear clothing, the Classic Car Collection side quests and six businesses that only open with the Ultimate Edition.
How much is the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?
$99.99 in the US on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, compared with $79.99 for the Standard Edition. Rockstar announced US prices only; each store sets its own price in other countries.
Is there a GTA 6 collector's edition?
Rockstar has announced two editions of the game: Standard and Ultimate. Its announcement does not mention a collector's edition, and lists no physical extras for the Ultimate Edition.
Do both editions get the pre-order bonus?
Yes. The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with every pre-order and every purchase made before 20 November 2026, whichever edition you choose. Boxed pre-orders get it while stocks last.
Does the physical edition have a disc?
No. Rockstar says boxed copies of both editions contain a download code instead of a disc. They go on sale on 12 November 2026 so you can pre-load before launch.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Ultimate later?
Rockstar has not announced an upgrade or its price. If you want the Ultimate Edition content, buying the Ultimate Edition up front is the only confirmed way to get it. We will update this answer if an upgrade is announced.
