  • '95 Grotti CheetahA mid-90s Grotti sports car in a minimalist retro-futuristic livery, unlocked later in the story with the Ultimate Edition.
  • '67 Vapid Dominator BuggyA 1967 Vapid Dominator cut down into an off-road buggy, stored at the Paradise Garage and built for Mount Kalaga's trails.
  • '55 Vapid StanierA two-tone 1950s sedan from the Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus, kept at the Shore Court Garage by Ocean Beach.
  • Vapid Ganado Retro BuildA retro-styled Vapid Ganado pickup with a cab spoiler, rear aerials and its own livery, waiting at Jason's safehouse.
  • Dinka EnduroA light dual-sport Dinka motorcycle kept at Jason's safehouse in the Keys, from the Ultimate Edition.
  • Crest KayakA kayak in military-style colours, kept at Jason's safehouse for paddling the shallows of the Keys.
  • Shitzu SqualoA pink and blue speedboat docked at Washington Beach, with an explosives crate on board, for fishing trips to Gambit Bay.

Classes are our own grouping until GTA 6's are confirmed. Dozens more vehicles appear in Rockstar's trailers; we add each one once its name is confirmed in the game rather than guessing from footage.

How car theft works

  1. 01

    Scan before you steal

    The WAINK phone app shows a parked car's value, whether it is locked, its alarm and tracker, the tools you need to take it, what a fence will pay and what it costs to register as your own.

  2. 02

    Security tiers

    Older cars open with a slim jim. Modern luxury cars need key-cloning gear, and some are out of reach until the story unlocks the right equipment.

  3. 03

    Trackers call the police

    Some cars carry GPS trackers that alert the police. Outrun the signal or ditch the car.

  4. 04

    Damage costs money

    Car fences pay less for a damaged car, so a clean delivery through Vice City's narrow, busy streets pays best.

  5. 05

    Keep it or sell it

    Register a stolen car as a personal vehicle, call it whenever you need it, and keep your bought weapons and a spare outfit in the trunk.

04 / Restore and collect

Wyman's Classic Car Collection

Through a collector called Wyman you can take on abandoned classics and project cars and restore them. Rockstar says four of the cars are exclusive to the Ultimate Edition.

On launch day every car in the collection goes on the map with its location, and you will be able to tick them off in your garage as you restore them.

How many cars are in GTA 6?

Rockstar has not published a vehicle count. It has named 7 vehicles so far, all through the Ultimate Edition and the pre-order bonus, and many more appear in its trailers and the Extended Look. We add every vehicle with its stats as soon as it is confirmed in the game.

What cars come with the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?

The Ultimate Edition includes the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with the Paradise Garage, the Shitzu Squalo speedboat, and three vehicles at Jason's safehouse: a Dinka Enduro, a Crest Kayak and a retro-build Vapid Ganado. It also adds four exclusive cars to Wyman's Classic Car Collection.

What car comes with the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?

The Vintage Vice City Pack includes the '55 Vapid Stanier, a two-tone classic sedan, together with the Shore Court Garage near Ocean Beach. It comes with every digital purchase made before 20 November 2026 and with physical pre-orders while stocks last.

Can you customise cars in GTA 6?

Yes. Rockstar has confirmed two mod shops so far: Rideout Customs in Vice City for classic cars, custom interiors, rims and donk builds, and One-Eyed Willie's at Lake Leonida for off-road mods and hand-painted finishes. Both come with the Ultimate Edition.

Can you steal and sell cars in GTA 6?

Yes. Cars have security tiers, the WAINK app shows what a car is worth and what you need to steal it, and car fences buy stolen vehicles, paying less if they are damaged. You can also register a stolen car as your own personal vehicle.
