American Alligator GTA 6 wildlife
Leonida's signature predator, named by Rockstar and seen in the Grassrivers wetlands, a swamp at night and even a Vice City convenience store.
No animal says Leonida like the alligator. Rockstar named it in Game Informer's cover story, and it is everywhere in the official material: on the deck of an airboat in Grassrivers, several of them in the black water under a swamp dock at night, and, in the first trailer, wandering through the doors of a convenience store.
Grassrivers is the obvious place to start a study. Rockstar's own description of the wetlands warns about predators just below the surface, so approach from a boat or high ground and keep your distance. Expect them in freshwater lakes and canals across the south of the map too. Whether the alligator falls into one of Rockstar's special rarity categories, and the exact spots it spawns, go in on launch day.
