Safes and fences GTA 6 guide

How to open safes in GTA 6, combination or explosives, and how to sell stolen jewellery, cars and other goods through fences.

Most robberies end at a safe, and GTA 6 gives you two ways in. Finding the combination takes longer but keeps the full value of what is inside. Blowing the safe with explosives is much faster, but damages some of the valuables, so you walk away with less.

Stolen goods do not turn into money on their own. Jewellery, vehicles and other valuables each go to their own specialised fence, and a car fence pays less for a damaged car. The Paradise Garage has a stash box for fenced goods and the Shore Court Garage has a fence drop-off, which makes both useful bases if you own them.

On launch day we will put every fence on the map with what it buys, so you never drive across Leonida with a trunk full of loot and nowhere to sell it.
