Rhesus Macaque GTA 6 wildlife
Yes, Leonida has monkeys: Rockstar confirmed rhesus macaques among the invasive animals in GTA 6.
Rockstar confirmed one of GTA 6's strangest-sounding animals in the Game Informer cover story: rhesus macaque monkeys, living wild in Leonida as an invasive species. It is not a joke. Real Florida has had a wild colony along an inland river for decades.
That points inland rather than to the city. We expect them in the woods and riverbanks around Lake Leonida in Ambrosia and the forests of Mount Kalaga. Macaques live in troops, so where you find one you should find several. Rarity and exact spawn spots go in on launch day.
