Ocean Beach Neon Strip GTA 6 photo spot

The art deco hotel row on Shore Drive lights up after dark, led by The Boardwalk and its neon tower from the first trailer.

The run of hotels along Shore Drive is one of the most recognisable sights in the first trailer: low art deco buildings in pastel colours, each with its own neon sign, and The Boardwalk's tower lit up above them. After dark the whole strip turns into a wall of colour, and the traffic crawling past adds light trails and reflections.

This is the spot for the definitive Vice City night shot. Stand across the street to get several hotel signs in one frame, or get in close to a single sign and let the rest blur behind it.

Shot ideas

  • Rain or a freshly washed street doubles the neon in the reflections.
  • A classic car parked at the kerb is the easiest way to sell the era.
  • Shoot down the length of the street to stack the signs together.
